Beth & Tim tied the knot at the beautiful Joseph Ambler Inn. I think we can all agree they are super cute together, and you can’t help but love a bride who isn’t afraid to wear argyle socks to her wedding! Below are some of my favorites from their winter Christmas time wedding.
So I got some exciting news yesterday. I just joined the Fearless Photographers last year and already won my first award for the photo below! Only about 2% of entries win an award, competing among the absolute best wedding photographers in the world! Woohoo!
I am so thrilled that of all my photos taken at approximately 200 weddings, the photo below was recognized. This photo showcases what is important to me as a photographer and why couples should hire someone really good to photograph their wedding. In addition to all the normal photos and moments that are always captured at a wedding, I try my darnedest to capture the meaningful moments with the people who are important to my couples (whether friends, family, or meandering hobos). I hope Mindy will cherish the photo forever and it’ll remind her of the wonderful grandmother who is part of her life. I may be the last professional photographer to capture many loved ones at a wedding and I take that job extremely seriously.
I want my couples to have eye candy photos to brag with on Facebook after the wedding. But just as importantly, I want them to have meaningful heirloom photos to look back on 50 or 60 years from now – to remember important relationships in their lives, their youthful love, and also to show off how cool they were to the grandkids.
